This accession consists of one group photograph of the Yolles-Herzls softball team of 1932.
Pictured are, left to right: Joe Benjamin (business manager), Harry Sniderman (manager), Bill Sniderman, P. Baylin, Harry Polevoy, S. Pancer (mascot), Herman Smith, Sam Rubin, Sam "Lefty" Starr, Bill Gold, Harry Stone, Lou Langbord, Max Scheff, S. Yolles (president).

S. Yolles owned a furniture store. His business sponsored the team.

This item is an original and copy photograph of a basketball team sponsored by Sam Davis of Kirkland Lake. The team members are wearing their athletic clothing and one member is holding a basketball.

Caption on back of one reads: "Sam Davis sponsored Basket Ball team - notable forinclusion of D. Harry Magder, born in Sudbury, first practiced in Kirkland Lake, 33-34. a fine athlete and musician.".

The Adamantus Club was a Toronto Jewish boy's club. All of the members of this team attended Upper Canada College and graduated from 1930 to 1933.
This hockey team played in the PCAC collegiate hockey league. That year they lost the cup to the Collegiate Club hockey team. The game was played at Varsity Arena.

Scope and Content
This item is a copy print and corresponding negative of a youth hockey team sponsored by B'nai Brith of Brantford, Ontario. The photograph depicts the team members in their hockey attire, as well as two coaches, on an outdoor rink. The photograph was taken at the Earl Haig hockey rink. Mark Resnick is pictured wearing a jersey with a "C" and his brother David Resnick is wearing a jersey with an "A". Their father was the coach. Jeff Kanter is also in the photo.
