This file consists of photographs taken at the annual meeting of the Y.M.-Y.W.H.A., held at the northern branch. The meeting coincided with the dedication of the northern building.
Five of the images are of the head table, which included Mr. and Mrs. Sam Granatstein, Ellis and Fanny Shapiro, Gurston Allen, Alex Fisher and Max Swartz. One image is of Alex Fisher, Ellis I. Shapiro and Sam Granatstein unveiling the dedication plaque, one is of a boardroom dedication plaque presented to Sam Granatstein by H. Max Swartz and the remaining image is of people seated at the banquet tables. Also identified are Mr. and Mrs. David Andrews.

File consists of eight appointment books documenting Phil Givens' various activities as an MPP, Chairman of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Commission, President of the Canadian Zionist Federation, and private citizen.
Physical Condition
The day-planners / appointment books have been labeled in the top right corner with the old (pre February 2011) arrangement notation. The label on the 1984 volume was successfully removed, but was so difficult that the remaining labels were left on.

The banquet was held in 1958 to honour the "Y" members for their athletic achievements during 1957. One is a group shot of Club Panama around a table of trophies, and one is of a young man accepting a trophy at the podium. "Hughie in his youth" is written on the verso.
Individuals identified in the group photo include Brian Bender (club supervisor), Barry Feldberg, Joe Swartz, Shelley Bender, Arnold Linetslay, Alex [?] and Malcolm Laderman.
