Jennie (Shayndel) Staiman née Pekel (1888-1976) was born in Toronto and is the daughter of Baruch and Elke (Alice) Pekel, wife of Harry Staiman (1887-1949) and mother of Elsie Staiman (1908-1967), Solly (Bill) Staiman (b. 1910), Frank Staiman (1913-1963), Ann Macklin (1915-1997), Monte Staiman (1919-2004) and Henry (Hank) Staiman (1921-1985).
