It contains letters exchanged with other agencies and individuals, and well as with the National JIAS headquarters in Montreal and the Western Region office in Winnipeg. Sub-series also contains files named for JIAS presidents and executive members, which contain incoming and outgoing correspondence created by, and in some cases about, the individual. The sub-series is arranged in its original alphabetical-chronological order.

Arrangement
This sub-series was created by the archivist from records originally part of series MG2 I1a K2 "Immigration Files - Administration, Projects." In the JIAS office, files were maintained in a central registry system of random numerical classification (these original numbers remain on the files).

File consists of photographs documenting Saul Cowan's career as a trustee and then as chairman of the North York Board of Education. Included are group photos of the board and trustees, participants at inaugural meetings and at an Advisory Vocational Dinner. There are also images of Saul's installation as chairman, his visits to a community day care centre and an elementary schools' art exhibit in a library, and the sod turning ceremony for the Education Administrative Centre at 5050 Yonge Street (1969). In addition, there are photographs taken at the openings of Newtonbrook Secondary School, Stanford Fleming Secondary School, and Herron Valley Junior High School. Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson is seen in the Newtonbrook pictures.
