Accession consists of Canadian Jewish Congress records related to a study carried out by Saul Hayes and Jacob Finkelman on discriminatory employment practices in Ontario. The title of the resulting report is "Evidence of Unequal Opportunity in Employment and a Suggested Fair Employment Practices Legislation". Included are reports, memorandi, correspondence, sample applications from different employers, and a booklet by Gurston Allen entitled "Jewish Occupational Difficulties" (1939).

Accession consists of photographs from the 2005 Book of Life celebration held at Beth Tzedec Synagogue. The photos feature honourees such as the Agudath Hamishpoche Society, Paul Morton, Ab Flatt, David Engel and the Konopny family. Book of Life chairs Barbara Bank and Vicki Campbell are also included.
The Book of Life, established by the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto in 2003, is an ever-growing collection of family stories of the organization's donors. Each year the Foundation recognizes new donors who have left a legacy to the Jewish community by way of a bequest in their will, a life insurance policy, or with a permanent endowment fund at the Foundation. Accession consists of records related to the Societies Division of Jewish Foundation including invitations to Spring Luncheon for Societies and other events, and 1 CD of Masada chapter of Lithuanian Jews photographs and society member lists. Accession also contains 2013 Book of Life signed stories.

Accession consists of minutes of meetings of the War Efforts Committee, various newspapers from the USA (The Sentinel) and Canada (Army Week) and a Jewish Calendar for Men in the Canadian Armed Forces (1941-1942).
There is no information on the acquisition of this material.
One of the main roles of the committee was to raise funds from Jewish communities across Canada for the purchase and donation of furniture. According to a document 'Special bulletin on Furnishing project', Congress is the only organization supplying furniture under an agreement with the Department of National Defence. The Chairman of the committee was Gurston Allen of Toronto.

The Book of Life is a collection of family stories from those who have left a financial legacy with the Jewish Foundation. The book is both hardcopy and online. Accession consists of material documenting the personal and professional activities of Janice Benatar. Personal records include a family tree, speeches Janice delivered at the Lipa Lippers Toastmaster's Group meetings, a sephardic cookbook, and immigration papers, and a Sharon School Reunion invitation for alumni living in Toronto. Also included are photographs of Janice with her family, performing in a ballet production with the Academy of Ballet and Jazz, with her newborn son, at her son's Bar Mitzvah at Chabad Flamingo, and with the keys to her first home in Thornhill. Also identified in photographs are: Elan Levitan, Viviane Benatar, Michael Benatar, Claudia Benatar, Rachel Pasternak, and Samuel Pasternak.
Also included are speeches, invitations, event programs and video recordings of Book Of Life events as well as a bookmark that was designed by artist Enya Keshet for Book of Life honourees. Finally, accession also includes Professional Advisory Committee meeting minutes (2009-2015) and breakfast seminar presentations (2014-2015).
