- Acession consists of photographs documenting Jewish community events in Toronto taken by Joe Black of Graphic Artists. The images include United Jewish Appeal and Canadian Jewish Congress dinners, UJA missions to Israel, sporting events, fund raisers with celebrity guests, visits to politicians' offices, and a royal tour at City Hall. There are pictures taken during construction of the northern branch of the YMHA, Baycrest Home for the Aged, and Adath Israel Congregation.
- Identified individuals include Rabbi David Monson, Rabbi Abraham Fineberg, Murray Koffler, Sid Harris, Irving Oelbaum, Sam Shopsowitz, Sam Bronfman, Premier of Ontario Leslie Frost, Mayor Nathan Philips, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Bette Davis, and the Three Stooges.
