- Scope and Content
- Accession consists of 5 films documenting United Jewish Appeal (UJA) study missions to Israel in 1958, 1959, 1960, 1968 and 1969. A notation on the 1960 study mission reel indicates that there is also material related to Alvin Rosenberg. Two of the reels have notations indicating possible YMHA material as well. The sole 8 mm film dates from approximately 1957 and features the UJA offices at 150 and 152 Beverley Street, the Jewish Home for the Aged and Baycrest Hospital, the YMHA at Bloor and Spadina, Associated Hebrew Schools on Neptune, and Camp Fundale on the grounds of what would become the Bathurst Jewish Community Centre and the Lipa Green building.
