- Mazel Tov Night was held once a month for residents at the Jewish Home for the Aged to celebrate their birthdays and other special anniversaries. The program was started in the 1950s by Recreation Director Eva Hahn. Each celebrant received a gift and corsage and an orchestra provided musical entertainment. The Capricorn Group sometimes acted as hostess for the event.
- Scope and Content
- File consists of photographs of members of the Capricorn Group with the candy trees they created as gifts for each Mazel Tov night honoree. They are standing in their Boutique. Identified in the photographs are: Marjory Frimeth, Helen Goldkind, Toby Tanenbaum, and Judi Green (Chairman).
