Mazel Tov Night was held once a month for residents at the Jewish Home for the Aged to celebrate their birthdays and other special anniversaries. The program was started in the 1950s by Recreation Director Eva Hahn. Each celebrant received a gift and corsage and an orchestra provided musical entertainment. The Capricorn Group sometimes acted as hostess for the event.
