- The house at 221 Ranee no longer exists as it was expropriated for the Allen Expressway. It was just south of the future Yorkdale Mall and also in the glidepath of Downsview Airport. Rose Penzner was the sister of Becky Feldman (married to Morris Feldman), whose son, Dr. Edward Feldman, was a Canadian military doctor who was assigned without experience, to run a medical unit treating Canadian and some German soldiers in Europe during the Second World War.

- Item is a copy photograph of (L-R) Mrs. Rose Penzner and Mrs. Ethel Lofsky preparing for a seder in the kitchen at 221 Ranee Avenue. Photo was taken by Stan Lofsky, the son of Ethel.
