- The mandate of the Citizens' Victory Council was to publicize, support, and coordinate activities of existing war service organizations. It was a non-partisan organization.
- Scope and Content
- File consists of a letter to John Glass from the City of Toronto Victory Loan Committee regarding his acceptance of an invitation to address representatives of the Superior Cloak Company. There is also documentation of a conference on April 15, 1942 of the Citizens' Victory Council including an invitation to John Glass to attend, his response, and a publicity announcement (described as "conference call") detailing the speakers and topics to be discussed.
