- File consists of photographs taken at the Convention of World Conservative Synagogues in Israel in 1962, and Mr. and Mrs. Glass at a B'nai Brith Israel Bonds dinner in Toronto with guest of honour the ambassador of Israel, and at an Israel Bonds Ambassador's Ball with the Israel consul and his wife in attendance. As well, there are photos of two events of the Toronto Lodge of B'nai Brith, and of guests including Jenny Grossinger and the Mr.and Mrs. John Glass at a B'nai Brith convention at Grossingers, New York.

Camp Ramah has been in operation since 1960 and operates under the educational guidance of the National Ramah Commission and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. It is governed by the Camp Ramah in Canada Committee. The camp is located in the Muskoka Region of Southern Ontario and is known for its experiential Jewish Education where campers learn Hebrew by singing together as a camp, participating in tefillot (prayers) on the beach and learning about Israel from Mishlachat (Israeli staff).

It was founded on the principles of sympathy for the working classes, secularism, and the desire to perpetuate secular Jewish culture through the Yiddish language. The curriculum consisted mainly of secular subjects--Jewish history and Yiddish language.

- Due to financial problems, in 1916 the school was taken over by the Workman’s Circle (Arbeiter Ring) and renamed the I.L. Peretz School after the well-known Yiddish author and playwright Isaac Leib Peretz. After seeing great popularity and strong attendance, the school expanded to other branches around the city. After around 50 years as an educational institution, the I.L Peretz School saw a decline and eventually closed its doors. Isaac Matenko (1874-1960) was one of the founding teachers and later, the principal of the Toronto Yiddish National Radical School. He was later affiliated with the Junction branch of the Peretz School, where he was a teacher and principal. He worked tirelessly to preserve and promote secular Jewish culture and the Yiddish language in Toronto.
