File contains two clippings from Tip Topics, the magazine published by Tip Top Tailors. The earlier clipping announces that Ben Dunkelman has gone overseas to fight in the Second World War; the later clipping contains a tribute to Rose Dunkelman, who died in 1949.

File consists of writings and speeches collected or created by Dr. Brown. The bulk of the material is on religious and educational topics, but there is also a biography of Wilferd Gordon, the son of Rabbi Jacob Gordon.
Series consists of written sermons, essays, and related documents. Sermons cover the five books of the Torah, special Sabbaths, and holidays. Series also includes published articles, essays, and other writings and subject files and clippings on topics related to Judaism.
File consists of biographical sketches of Isaac Matenko. The bulk of these sketches were written just after Isaac's death in 1960 and were originally published in various newspapers, including the Vochenblat, the Yiddisher Zhurnal, and On the Threshold. The Yiddish articles are accompanied by English translations.
File consists of J. B. Salsberg's published and unpublished political writings. Topics covered include: Metropolitan Toronto taxes, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), the Soviet Union, Soviet antisemitism, Palestine, the provincial Department of Lands and Forests and provincial fair practices legislation.
Series consists of records documenting J.B. Salsberg's writing and lecturing activities. The bulk of the records are textual and include: correspondence, newspaper clippings, booklets, a Smolar Award plaque, notes, articles, transcripts, lists, and a course outline.
File consists of writings and speeches from various Clanton Park Synagogue events, such as welcoming Rabbi Nachum Rabinovitch and Rabbi Kerzner. Of note is an outline of important dates in the synagogue's history.

The sub-series consists of Dr. Joseph Diamond's and Rabbi Irwin Witty's personal correpondence, filed with their executive director records, the text of public talks and of commentaries made on Zelda Young's "Jewish hour" radio programme, broadcast every Sunday on the CHIN (Toronto) radio station. The topics of these commentaries varied widely, including Talmudic commentaries, Israeli and Diaspora Jewish politics, as well as matters relating to Jewish education in Toronto and elsewhere. Although much of the personal correspondence is routine in nature, some of the letters include discussions of Jewish education and activities of the BJE.
This file consists of a variety of lists. Included are collection lists from the Mizrachi Organization of Toronto, executive members of Mizrachi Organization for 1940, membership lists from the Mizrachi Organization of Toronto,Canadian Executive list, list of members of Congregation Beth Jacob, lists of members of the Vaad Hapoel, list of Women's Mizrachi Organization of Toronto, list of rabbis, lists of congregations from 1940 and a list of representatives to the Peoples and Central Relief.
File consists of lists of the Men's Service Group's various Committees and Committee Chairmen. Many of the lists include a brief description of each committee.
File consists of lists of students who won scholarships and awards and who passed university entrance tests. Also included is a list of students in a grade nine class.
Sub-series contains records documenting immigrant tailors and their arrival at Halifax, Canada from 1947-1949. The files are primarily passenger lists of voyages between 1947-1949 indicating ship name, date of departure and arrival, names of passengers, marital status, number of children, nationality, religion (both Jewish and non-Jewish), gender, age, and occupation. Some lists include a forwarding address, phone number, sponsor name and employer.

File contains boat lists organized by sailing and arrival date. Some lists include port of departure, passenger names, nationality, religion, gender, marital status, age, and occupation. Boat arrivals were Nea Hellas, S.S. Samaria, S.S Scythia, Marine Shark, General Black, General Howze, General McCrae.
