The records include agendas and minutes, outgoing letters, talking points for presenters at schools, a March for Israel poem, a schedule of drop-offs of sponsorship kits and locked collection boxes and a presentation list and schedule. There is also an information package of textual and visual resources on tzedakah and the theme "so no Jew stands alone." This includes documents that discuss rescue and resettlement, fundraising for Israel, and the crisis of Ethiopian Jews and Jews from Sarajevo. The file also includes copies of a flyer and a quarter-page advertisement.

The file also contains a letter written by UJA March coordinator Karen Worb outlining the initial steps of the recruitment committee as of February 9th, 1996. Attached to this letter is the original proposal from the Canadian Zionist Federation for a joint youth program to conclude with an event on the day of the March (i.e. the Festival).

Scope and Content
Accession consists of material documenting the experiences of university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The donor provided the following text with the submission: "During the pandemic all the students are studying online. Huddled in their bedrooms the flow of knowledge through headphones and zoom classes is almost audible. These images are portraits made up an image of the student at their workplace; then below that, the student after they have left the workplace - which reveals more about their character and the text on the bottom is input by the student themsleves as to revealing what they are hearing / thinking at the time I made the images."

Scope and Content
File consists of records documenting David Pinkus’ post-secondary education and employment at the University of Toronto. Included are statement of fees and receipts of tuition fees, documents relating to his application for admission, grade reports, an information form, his graduation photograph, and his certification of degree. Also present are his appointment to the position of demonstrator in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and a certificate presented by the Engineering Alumni Association on the occasion of the 1972 spring reunion.
Notes
STORAGE LOCATION NOTE: The graduation photograph and certification of degree are oversized and therefore are stored in the map cabinet.
Access Restriction
Partially closed. Researchers must receive permission from the OJA director prior to accessing some of the records.
Physical Condition
There are cracks and tears on the supporting sheet of the graduation photograph.

The University Synagogue was located at 151 University Avenue at the north-east corner of Elm Street. It was founded in 1883 and about three years later they bought a former Methodist Church. It was the immediate ancestor of Goel Tzedec Synagogue located further down University Avenue at 77-81 and then later 93 University Avenue, below Dundas Street.
