Scope and Content
File consists of textual and graphic material documenting the Associated Hebrew School's participation in the World Bible Contest. Included is correspondence, contest rules, programmes, an article written by Dr. Brown, lists of results, press releases, and resources from the World Zionist Organization's Department of Education and Culture. Also included are photographs of students from the Associated Hebrew Schools who participated in the contest and their educators. Identified in the photographs is Chaim Warner (contest winner in 1974), Jacob Burke (principal of AHS), Avshalom Grafi (Israeli exchange teacher who prepared students for the contest), and Rabbi Irwin Witty (executive Director of the BJE).
