In the news release, Sam Filer "announces the annual commemoration of the Anniversary of the Execution of the Soviet-Jewish Writers and Poets in Moscow in 1952." The commemoration was to be held on 12 August 1975 at Beth Tzedec Synagogue (1700 Bathurst Street).
