Max Hoffman's brother, David, was vice president of Adas Israel.
Scope and Content
File consists of material relating to the turning of the sod ceremony for the Adas Israel synagogue. It contains an invitation to the membership and the programme as well as the speech Max Hoffman delivered at the ceremony. It also includes a letter outlining the duties that David Hoffman performed during the ceremony and a home movie film of the event.

File consists of records documenting the dedication ceremonies of the Clanton Park Synagogue. Included are invitations, a programme and souvenir book, and audio-visual recordings of the event. Also included are the order of services and speeches that were delivered at the dedication ceremony and dinner.

Rabbi Kerzner served as spiritual leader of Clanton Park synagogue from 1973 until his retirement in 2002.
Scope and Content
File consists of an invitation to the installation dinner in honour of Rabbi Kerzner as well as the dinner programme and souvenir book. There also are letters congratulating Rabbi Kerzner on being appointed rabbi and a newspaper article about his previous position. In addition, there are speeches that were likely delivered at the dinner, and a film and sound recordings of the event.

Includes 2 audio cassettes, 1 audio reel, and 1 film reel (8 mm).
Physical Condition
Sound recordings and film reel should be digitized. The cassette tapes are likely copies of the audio reel, however, the audio reel has better sound quality.

Clanton Park sponsored a tribute dinner in honour of Sol Edell's dedicated service to the synagogue. The dinner also commorated the 50th yartzheit of his grandfather, Rabbi Yosef Weinreb.
Scope and Content
File consists of an invitation to the Sol Edell Tribute Dinner and correspondence soliciting advertisements for the commemorative journal. The file also contains a list of people who attended the dinner, notes for Sara Edell Kelman's speech about Sol, and other stories written for the commemorative journal. Also included is a video recording of various synagogue members speaking about Sol and his contributions to the community.

File consists of a plot plan of Jones Avenue Cemetery which was prepared by Paul Edell (1962), and membership correspondence relating to the payment of dues and regulations regarding the arrangements for burial and the erection and dedication of monuments. Also included are financial reports and meeting agendas and minutes for annual general meetings. Finally, file contains moving images of the gravestones, outer wall, and chapel of the Cemetery with commentary likely by Sol Edell.

Scope and Content
Item is a film reel containing home movie footage of various Toronto scenes and a home movie skit likely filmed by Sol Edell's children and step-children based on the story of Frankenstein. The first few minutes includes footage of a woman walking down a Toronto street, a Lubavitch youth van, and various shots of Toronto from a moving car. This is followed by the Frankenstein skit, which includes scenes of Dr. Frankenstein and his hunchbacked assistant bringing the creature to life, the creature escaping from the laboratory, the creature climbing a tree and attacking people passing by, and various characters fighting the creature. The skit is filmed on a residential street.

Also included is footage of a family relaxing by a pool likely at a Miami hotel.
