File consists of black and white prints from the 1987 Festival of the Walk for Israel. The images are of fire trucks on display, the petting zoo, people under the marquee with organizations' booths on display, the midway rides, a juggler performing, and a crowd of people at the central booth with the Festival attractions in the background. File also contains a photocopied photograph of three elephants and their trainer performing to a crowd of onlookers behind the BJCC.

Scope and Content
The file contains photographs taken on the day of the event. There are images of the crowd and individual families along the route, a large Community March for Israel banner, the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Israeli flags, the registration table, aerial shots looking down Bathurst Street, the ham radio operators at the Lipa Green Buildling, volunteer marshalls, a table outdoors with a man 'laying tefillin', the refreshment stop, a costumed turtle character with a little girl, a group of individuals with disabilities along the route, and a clown entertaining people. As well, there are group shots of volunteers from the Holocaust Remembrance Committee and Forest Heights B'nai Brith, and also walkers with banners from Leo Baeck Day School, the JIAS Integration Program, Netivot Hatorah Day School, Temple Sinai and the Downtown Jewish Community School. UJA personnel in the photographs include Brian Keshen.

File contains photographs from the Walk kick-off Carnival at Nathan Phillips Square, along the route and at checkpoints. The images include crowd scenes, groups of kids, parents with children, volunteers, dogs, strollers, costumed characters and entertainment. There are photos of the Mandell Entertainment truck, the fire truck and firemen with kids, musicians, the JF&CS clothing drive, the Kiever shul, the Kensington Market area and City Hall. Groups with banners include USDS, Associated Hebrew Schools, B.B.Y.O. B'nai Brith Girls, and the Downtown Jewish Community School.

File contains photographs of the crowds, families, children and seniors at the Walk opening at Roundhouse Park, along the route, and at the Western Wall replica that was constructed in Nathan Phillips Square. The images include crowd shots, Fun Run participants, dancing groups of people, flags, blue and white confetti, volunteers, the opening speeches, bikers, dogs, entertainment and Tony the Tiger. Also in the photos are several groups: Alpha Omega Toronto Alumni, the Birthright Israel Alumni committee and the Toronto Herschel School. Notables in the photos include Mel Lastman, Corey Mandell and co-chair Abe Glowinsky.

Scope and Content
File consists of 4 CDs containing digital photographs (jpgs). One disc (Black's Photography) contains images at the Walk opening of entertainment, children, the registration table, the crowd, dancing, Israel flags, sponsor banners, a clown and people along the route. The other 3 discs contain 308 photographs. These document the opening at Coronation Park, the crowd along the route and people at the RioCan Festival at Ontario Place. They include images of special guest, Police Chief Julian Fantino, the co-chairs of the Walk, a huge hora, opening speeches by the Walk chairs, one of the checkpoints, facepainting, games and putting on tefillin.
At the Festival the images are of the marketplace, Ontario Place rides, a CIJA-PAC group and other vendors at tables. Groups represented include Leo Baeck Day School; Congregation BINA (Community of Jews from India); Canadian Jews & Christians (Together for Israel); the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Canada; and Jews for Jesus. There are also pictures of anti-Israel protesters at the entrance to the checkpoint. UJA notables in the photos include Ted Sokolsky and Michelle Golfman.
In addition, the file contains a DVD with video footage of the 2004 Walk set to music.

Black's-processed photographs by Eve [Marks]. This disc has Fujifilm Image Viewer software on it which must be used to view the photos.
Other photographs by Stephen Epstein. Epstein's discs include thumbnails, high-resolution jpgs and html files forming a "web gallery" index to peruse the images. The three CDs each have 1/3 of the images in high-resolution.

The images are of volunteers, kids, flags, dogd, the chairs of the Walk, the registration table, sponsors' banners, some people 'laying' tefillin, the kickoff speakers and performers, crowd shots, dancing, people along the route, rest stops and the Western Wall replica. VIPs pictured include Mel Lastman. Groups with banners include the Downtown Jewish Day School, International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Canada, Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue, March of the Living, and Jews for Jesus.
The Festival photographs feature performers, MC Corey Mandell, members of the Walk committee, audience shots, people dancing, a drumming centre, an activity centre for kids, students' murals and inflatables.

Though the CD is not marked, it is likely these photographs are Steven Epstein's, since he usually included the html pages for viewing the thumbnails online.
