Admin History/Bio
Camp Winnebagoe is still operating today as a private co-ed Jewish summer camp for children eight to sixteen years of age. It was founded by Joseph B. and Sadie Danson and was located on 500 acres of land near Huntsville in Ontario's Muskoka region. The camp catered to the Jewish community and provided a variety of different athletic and social programmes, such as arts and crafts, canoeing, baseball, swimming, music and nature studies. Ida Siegel's son David, was a counsellor at the camp.
