Silblings included Rae (1904–1987), Leah (1905–1976), Helen (1911–1986), Albert (1913–2003), Irving (1915–1999), and George (1919–1981). Ben married Susan (née Givertz, 1915–2000) and together they had one son, Fred Simon.
