- Admin History/Bio
- Charles Rosner Bronfman, the son of Saidye Rosner Bronfman and Samuel Bronfman (the founder of Distillers Corporation Limited), is a businessman and philanthropist. He was born on 27 June 1931 in Montreal. He was a company director of Seagram, Claridge Israel Inc, E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, and the Power Corporation of Canada, and was an honorary chair of the board of Canada-Israel Securities Ltd., the director of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews, and chair of the CRB Foundation. He was awarded the Order of Canada, and has been given honorary doctorates from the Hebrew University and McGill University.
