Dr. Irwin Lightman was born on 22 October 1919, in Vienna, Austria. He was the son of Samuel and Sarah Lichtman of Galicia, Austria. On 20 July 1946, he married Selma (née Vise) and together they had three children: Bernard, Ellen and Jonathan. Lightman was a dentist by profession. He was an active supporter of the Jewish Home for the Aged and Baycrest Hospital.

Dr. Irwin Lightman was born on 22 October 1919 in Vienna, Austria. He was the son of Samuel Lichtman and Sarah Lichtman of Galicia, Austria. On 20 July 1946, he married Selma Vise (m. Lightman) and together they had three children: Bernard, Ellen, and Jonathan. Lightman was a dentist by profession. He was an active supporter of the Jewish Home for the Aged and Baycrest Hospital. Irwin also chaired the UJA's Toronto Leadership Developement Group in the 1960s, a group whose aims were to train young men to take on responsabilities within the Jewish community, societies, and welfare funds.
Selma Lightman is the daughter of Gertrude Schwartz, who was the cousin of Sylvia Schwartz, the photographer. Selma was a membership chairperson for the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University during the 1960s, while Irwin was an executive member.

Moses Kronick was a Toronto dentist who served at home and overseas in the Canadian Army Dental Corps during the Second World War. Moses was the son of Samuel Kronick, a ladies wear manufacturer, and married twice, once to Harriance and later to Sandy Kronick. He had 5 children, 3 step-children and 7 grandchildren. Kronick died on 30 December, 1999 at Baycrest Hospital.

Dr. Leo Sussman (died 23 July 1993) was a Toronto dentist who served overseas as a Captain in the Canadian Army Dental Corps during the Second World War.
Dr. Leo Sussman was the son of Rachel and David Sussman, and his brother was Henry B. Sussman, the real estate broker and developer. He married Kirsten Sussman and one child, Stephen, and two grandchildren, Rebecca and Lorne.

Dr. Abram (Abe) Slone graduated from the University of Toronto in 1918 and practiced as a dentist in Toronto for two years. In 1921, he began his dental practice in Ottawa, becoming the first Jewish dentist in Ottawa. He served both as president of the Ottawa Dental Society and of the Eastern Ontario Chapter. He served in the Canadian Army during the First World War and an officer in the reserves after the war. He was closely associated with Poale-Zion and Histadrut Campaigns, and was Chairman of the Zionist Organization in Ottawa. He was also a founder of the Ottawa Jewish Historical Society. He was a member of Beth Shalom Congregation (honoured for 50 years of affiliation), Masonic Lodge (50 year member), and founder of the first Jewish Boy Scout troop. His wife was Jean (Goldstick) Slone and he had two sons, Morton and Joel. He died in November 1971.
