Scope and Content
This item is an original and copy photograph of the engagement party of Mr. Mont's eldest daughter in the social hall of the Kirkland Lake synagogue (Legion Hall) in the early 1930s. Outside, left to right: Fanny Scott, Alter Scott, Eli Dubinsky, Mrs. D., Mrs. Friedman and husband, Rabbi Rabinowitz, Mr. Mont, Mary Mont, Mont family.
In corner, a young Bill Jacks and wife Bella, Kay Kadish and wife.
Facing camera, starting left corner: Mrs. Ben Portnoy, Mrs. Faye (Kaplan) Atkins, Mrs. Nathan Kaplan, Max Berjansky, Rose Berjansky, next unknown.
