- Jewell Schwartz was the daughter of Jack and Minnie Schwartz, and was Sylvia Schwartz's cousin.
In 1955, Jewell opened an upscale craft retail store called Trade Winds at 150 Bloor Street West. In 1963 she relocated the store to 138 Cumberland Street in Yorkville, due to the previous building being torn down. Trade Winds remained at this location until her retirement in 1984. Jewell was known to take courses in the construction of the wares she sold, such as jewelry and pottery to have a better idea of the materials she was selling.
- Jewell has donated several works of Inuit art to the University of Toronto Art Centre's permanent collection.

- Herbert Solway is the son of Fanny (d.22 April 1971) (the sister of Sylvia Schwartz) and Alex Solway (d. 1 July 1988) and the borther of Carol Solway.
- Herbert Solway received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1953 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1955. He was called to the Bar in 1957. Herbert was a founding member of Goodmans LLP, joining the firm in 1955. He has played a significant role in helping build the foundation of the firm, serving as its chair from 1980 to 1992. He served as a Chariman until 1994 and Partner until 1998. He continues to serve as Counsel to Goodmans. He was appointed to the Queen's Counsel in 1968.
- Herbert has also been a Director of Gluskin Sheff and Associates Inc. since May 2006. He is a Director of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and a Founding director of the Tarragon Theatre Company. He was a Founding director of Sun Media Corporation, as well as a Director of John Labatt Ltd.

- Raphael (Ralph) Wintrob is a former journalist, teacher and teacher-librarian. Since retiring he has taught a variety of courses at the senior studies program (L.I.F.E. Institute), Ryerson University, in the areas of philosophy and literature. He has also taught his Hebrew short novels course at a Toronto synagogue. He is now the co-ordinator of Wintrob Editorial Services.Ralph married Kitty, the author of "I'm Not Going Back," in 1959 while he was a journalist with the CBC. They have one daughter, Suzanne who is also a writer and editor. He is also the son of Gertrude Schwartz's sister, Zelda Wintrob. In 1989, Ralph was a founding member and chair of the Toronto Jewish Theatre Committee (TJTC), and the Canadian Jewish Playwriting Competition (CJPC). In 1999, the downtown Toronto Miles Nadal JCC adopted this program.

- Ellen "Honey" Dworkin, the daughter of Dorothy and Henry, was called Honey by her parents. She was born on 19 June 1912. She married Lewis Raxlan in 1932. They divorced, and she then married Leon Arthurs (d. 14 November 1980) in August 1943. They had two children, Harry and Linda. Harry later became the Dean of Osgoode Law School. She had 6 grandchildren, Robin, Mark, Laurie, Jeff, Josh, and Gideon. She died on 10 May 1991.

- May Cohen was born in Montreal in 1931 to Sam and Mania Lipshitz and grew up in Toronto. After graduating from high school as the top student in Ontario, she attended medical school at the University of Toronto and again led her class, earning a gold medal for academic excellence. Dr. Cohen first practiced family medicine in Toronto and then joined McMaster University's Faculty of Health Sciences in 1977 to teach and practice family medicine. She co-founded the Women's Health Office at McMaster and also the Women's Health InterSchool Curriculum Committee for Ontario's medical schools. From 1991 to 1996 she served the Faculty of Health Sciences as associate dean of Health Services.
- Dr. May Cohen is married to Dr. Gerry Cohen, a semi-retired family practitioner in Hamilton, and is the mother of Eric, Russell, and the late Stuart. She has five grandchildren.
