Admin History/Bio
In 1986, thirteen thousand people participated in UJA's Walk for Israel, raising $180,000. This year, each checkpoint along the eighteen-kilometre route was named for one of Israel's eight prime ministers. The "Festival of Festivals," which ended the walk, organized by UJA in support of Israel's children, marked Israel Independence Day. The festival featured booths set up by various community agencies.
