Scope and Content
Accession consists of photographs documenting a United Jewish Appeal Young Leadership Mission to Israel in 1962. Identified individuals include Morris Adams, Moe Emer, Paul Baer (the group's guide), Bernie Persiko, Barney Barenholtz, Jeff Cohen, Harvey Wolfe, Albert Mandel, Gerry Halpert, Stan Paulin, Wayne Tanenbaum, Bill Stern, and Murray Rumack.
Images show the group participating in various tours and visiting sites such as the Gadna training camp for teenagers, Israeli Air Force and naval bases, King Solomon's Mines, Yad Vashem, the Herzl memorial, a children's home, the Negev and Galilee, the Timma Copper Mines, the town of Acre, sitting in on an Ulpan Hebrew class for new immigrants, visiting sites of industry, greeting new aliyot disembarking at dock, and meeting with dignitaries and Israeli officials, such as Shimon Peres, Moshe Sharett, Levi Eshkol, and various military generals.

Following the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-49, Ben Dunkelman frequently travelled to Israel for pleasure as well as for business. Although he once went leopard hunting in Africa, Dunkelman usually visited the Middle East or the United States when outside Canada.

Sub-series contains maps, a passport, a 1953 travel diary and some correspondence. The records relate to Benjamin Dunkelman’s travels to Israel. The sub-series includes files for Dunkelman’s passport and his travel maps.

This sub-series consists of two files. The two events are an opening at the Park Plaza Hotel and a Pidyon Ha'Ben ceremony for Herbert Solway's son Gary.
Images from the Park Plaza Hotel consist of views of the ballroom, the entertainers, and friends and family enjoying the party. Family members identified are from the Schwartz, Halbert and Wintrob families. Non-family members identified are from the Yolles and Rotenberg families. There are 12 negatives in this file.
Images from file 2 consist of partygoers for the Pidyon Ha'Ben ceremony in Alex Solway's apartment. Those in attendance were from the Schwartz, Shleser, Solway and Rotenberg families. There are 12 negatives in this file.

Scope and Content
Series consists of negatives and proofs produced by Sylvia Schwartz in her portrait studio. The images depict formal portraits of individuals to mark important lifecycle events. These events include bat mitzvahs, bar mitzvahs, graduations and weddings.
There are twenty-six portraits in total. They depict two children in their bat mitzvah robes, young adults in their graduation gowns, and brides in their wedding dresses both with and without their grooms.
Two of the graduation portraits feature Sylvia's family: one of Jewell Schwartz, her cousin, and one of Herbert Solway, her nephew. For the other indivduals featured in this series, either their full name or only their last name is known.

A bi-monthly copy of "Technion", published by the Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, is in the file with an invitation to a general meeting for members and friends of its Toronto Chapter.

Series consists of negatives documenting events hosted by various Toronto Jewish organizations, such as conventions, meetings and fundraising campaigns, as well as individuals from the Jewish community participating in social activities. The images have been arranged alphabetically by organization and chronologically by event and are described to the file or item level. There are six sub-series as part of this series, namely: B'nai Brith lodges, Israel Histadrut of Toronto, Herzl Zion Club of Toronto, Jewish Home for the Aged, Zionist Organization of Canada, and Benevolent societies.

File consists of photographs of unidentified Women's Auxiliary events. Included are images of people enjoying dinners at their tables, a couple likely walking through the entrance of Baycrest Centre, performers taking their bow after a show, auxiliary members taking coffee, and members likely at a membership tea. Also included is a portrait of Dr. Allan Gould, which is accompanied by a brief biography for him. Also identified in the photographs is Dora Till, Fanny Shapiro, Dorothy Newman, Mrs. Stone, Mrs. Eisen, and Jack Kamarner.
