Series consists of records documenting Congregation Beth David's anniversaries and special celebrations. Included are photographs of the groundbreaking and laying of the cornerstone for the new synagogue on Waterloo Street; a photograph of the Congregation's burning of the mortgage celebration; a photograph of the Rapoport family presenting a sefer Torah to Beth David; an invitation and guest list for a testimonial brunch for the Ekstein and Rotberg families; and newsclippings, correspondence, certificates and plaques documenting the congregation's sixtieth, seventieth, and seventy-fifth anniversaries.

This sub-series consists of records documenting specific events held under the auspices of the Women's Auxiliary of the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care. The records include correspondence, reports invitations, program booklets, photographs and one artifact.
Concert programmes for this file are gathered in two accessions. Together these records document Solway's performance career as a soloist and in the New Symphony, the TSO, the Joyce Trio, the Solway String Quartet, and with various other ensembles in Toronto and throughout Ontario. The programme bills are arranged chronologically in each of two separate folders, separated according to the original accessions.

Shalom was a television programme produced by the Zionist Organization of Canada's Department of Education and Culture, and included Israeli and world Jewish news, interviews and entertainment segments.
The Department was established in 1970 to provide leadership in the area of Jewish day school education through the development of day school curricula and programmes. Shalom began as a joint project of ZOC and the Keren Hatarbut Central Region office in Toronto, and was shown initially on York Cablevision in Toronto. In August 1971, the Department took over full responsibility for the programme, and Hanoch Rizman was hired as producer/director of Shalom. The production of Shalom became the Department's primary activity in 1971, and its distribution was increased to include the Rogers Cable TV and MacLean-Hunter Cable TV stations in Ontario.
Scope and Content
The series contains correspondence with programme participants and guests, television station staff and ZOC officials, minutes of meetings of the Television Committee of the Department of Education and Culture, and detailed script and scheduling information for individual programmes. The series also includes photographs of programme guests and production staff.
The file consists of promotional material including a brochures promoting Canadian Young Judaea and the Hebrew University Study Programme offered to Canadian Young Judaea in cooperation with the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University.
File contains correspondence, lists and news releases concerning the Canadian Committee for Soviet Jewry's programme to partner Canadian Members of Parliament with prisoners of conscience in the Soviet Union.
