Series consists of portraits, photographs and correspondence documenting the activities of the Folks Farein Executive. Of note is a letter from the Canadian Overseas Garment Commission to David Green regarding the issuance of discharge certificates for immigrants who came to Toronto under the Tailor's Project.
File consists of 19 photographs of Folks Farein members and executive. Included are photographs of David Green, S. Shuhyn (Superintendent), M. Handelman, M. Oelbaum, K. Geller, Jack Bender, Harry Charendoff, M. Speigel, M. Littner, Rabbi David Monson and 3 unknown individuals.
File consists of Folks Farein correspondence. The majority of letters are requests for donations, letters of condolence and congratulations and requests for volunteers. Of note is a letter from S. Cohen, Vice President, addressing the passing of David Green, and a statement made by Rabbi Monson regarding his resignation as Treasurer of the Folks Farein.
File consists of correspondence to the Folks Farein. The majority are thank you letters for concerts, Passover meals, aid for refugees, donations, and chaplaincy services. Of note is a letter from the Canadian Overseas Garment Commission regarding the Tailor's Project, a letter from Sidney Diswood, Administrator of Mt. Sinai Hospital regarding the establishment of a working relationship between the Folks Farein and Mt. Sinai, a copy of an article written by Rabbi Kelman entitled Mental Hospitals, and a copy of a speech given by Jacob Bellar congratulating David Green on his leadership of the Folks Farein. The majority of letters are from various Ontario hospitals, the Canadian Jewish Congress, the United Jewish Appeal, the United Jewish Welfare Fund, the Jewish Home for the Aged, Jewish Immigration Aid Society, and the State of Israel Bonds.
File consists of the Folks Farein annual report of 1925-1926. Included in the report are activity and financial reports, a record of donations, messages from the executive, a greeting from Fred Johnston liberal candidate for Toronto West Centre and an ad for the Labor Lyceum's third annual bazaar. Also included are photos of Folks Farein executive members, H.M. Kirshenboim (1st secretary), J. Graner (1st president), L.M. Kirshenboim (executive secretary), Avraham Sher (president last 10 years), M. Handelman (VP), and M. Korn; photos of board of directors, M. Bronstein, S. Lent, and Y. Yudaskin; and photos of hospital committee members, Hilda Rotstein, Y. Roves, Nathan Scholl, S. Lent, Mrs. Katzman, Mr. Weinstock, Mrs. Meingarten, A. Sher, Mrs. Sofer, Mrs. Sher, Mrs. Saul, Mrs. Fauster, Mrs. Dakhes, Mrs. Applebaum and Mrs. Pepish.
