Scope and Content
Accession consists of group photographs of members of the Labour League's Ostrovtzer Branch in Toronto in the 1940s and 1970s. Accession also inlcudes photocopies of letters written in Yiddish from Chana or Chaim Lalcman, a prisoner of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, and Symcha Lalcman and Laurie Minchew who appear to be living on Godesberger Strasse in (Bonn?) Germany. The letters were sent to the Greenspoon Bros. in Sudbury, Ontario. Another letter is from Simon (Shimon) Leib Kierbel, a DP in Germany, sent to Esther Borenstein, who lived at 60 Barton Ave. in Toronto.
