- Accession consists of the records created and collected by Bill Gladstone during the course of his research for a book, The History of the Jewish Community of London Ontario from the 1850s to the Present Day. The book was commissioned by the Rubinoff family. The records document several long-standing families of the London Jewish community, as well as business and religious and social institutions. Included are vital statistics, correpsondence, demographic reports and surveys, photographs, and other related material.
- Administrative History
- Bill Gladstone is a researcher, writer and genealogist living in Toronto. He has written and edited numerous books on Canadian Jewish history and is a frequent contributor to the Canadian Jewish News, the Globe and Mail and other publications. He is often asked to give community presentations on a variety of topics related to the history of Jewish Toronto.
