- Admin History/Bio
- Camp Shalom was founded in 1948 by the Zionist Organization of Canada as a summer camp for youth between the ages of 9 and 13. Located in Gravenhurst, Ontario, Camp Shalom was one of the most successful of the Zionist camps. Camp Shalom was under the direct supervision of the Ontario Camps Association, which received its guidelines and standards from the National Camps Association. However, the daily operation and staffing of the camp was provided by Young Judaea. The camp still exists today and is jointly operated by the Toronto Zionist Council and Canadian Young Judaea.
