- A. E. Diamond was an electrical engineer and land developer. He was born on March 1, 1921 to Alice and Meyer Diamond. He married Shirley Greenberg and they had four children: Michael, Stephen, Carey, and Mark.
- Diamond was president of Cadillac Contracting Ltd., co-founder and past President of Temple Sinai, as well as, a member of the Board of Directors for the New Mount Sinai Hospital. He was also a member of the Jewish Home for the Aged, United Jewish Welfare Fund, Canadian Friends of Hebrew University, Association of Professional Engineers and served two years in the Canadian Navy during the second World War.
