- File consists of correspondence in 1937 from John Glass congratulating successful candidates in the Toronto municipal election to positions including the city council, board of control and the board of education. Ralph Day is congratulated on his appointment as mayor of Toronto. Lastly Glass congatulates Allan Lawrence on his appointment to the provincial legislature in 1967.
- Thanking Glass for their 1937 election victories are members of the board of control, board of education, Mayor Ralph Day, and the assisstant registrar.
- In 1963 Vernon Singer thanks Glass for recognizing his election to the Ontario legislature, and in 1964 Philip Givens, newly elected mayor of Toronto, expresses his appreciation to Glass for his message.
