- File consists of legal documents pertaining to the sale of the property comprising lots 6-9 on the east side of Spadina: Plan D-254, also known as 651 Spadina, from the Central Council of the Girls' Friendly Society to the Toronto Zionist Council. There is a 1928 declaration of Arthur Carlson McMaster stating his claim to the property through his parents, and including a history of the property since 1883.
- Further declarations by Thrza Deverall and Mary Sparling, both of the Girls' Friendly Society, continue the history from the McMasters to the 1942 sale to the Zionist Council. A 1942 letters patent document reincorporates the Toronto Zionist Council as a corporation that can hold real estate etc.
- Correspondence between John Glass for the Zionists and lawyers for the sellers concern bank loans, insurance, and regulations for applications for building permits for renovations of the facility.
