Accession consists of Operation Exodus (for Soviet Jewery) materials pertaining to Freedom Sunday/Week fund raising telethons and Women's Campaign telethons. Documents include meeting agendas and memos, registration forms, planning logistics, training session information, lists of campaign division heads, and post-event evaluation forms and a newspaper clipping There is also a book entitled "Operation Exodus:a pictorial report" which includes a historical overview with photographs.
The Y-Time was a newspaper that was produced by the YM-YWHA and mailed to its membership.
Scope and Content
This file contains two copies of the 1937 annual edition, one copy of the 1938 annual edition and one copy of the 1939 annual edition of the Y-Times. There are also some clippings from 1936 and 1937 issues.
This file consists of one issue of the JCC-Time, produced by the Jewish Community Centre of Toronto. The JCC-Time was an extension of the Y-Time, which ended in 1978.
This sub-series consists of records documenting the operational activities of the Mothers' and Babes' Summer Rest Home Association. Included are general correspondence files, camper records and documents detailing the Association's name change, their inclusion into the Jewish Camp Council, the closing of the rest home in Bronte, the search for a new site in Tollandale and the subsequent closing of the camp in the late 1970s.

Series consists reports and grant claims documenting JCWA's overall case load and financial statistics. Some of the records were originally created by the Jewish Children's Bureau and inherited by JCWA.

Series consists of textual records documenting the operational statistics of the JFWB. Included are monthly, annual and semi-annual case load and activity statistics. Also included are comparative statistics of case loads and relief expenses, statistics on cases handled through correspondence with other organizations, and monthly statistics of staff activities.

Series consists of correspondence and legal documents relating to the building and operations of the Folks Farein. Of note is the offer to purchase the Toronto Jewish Old Folks Home, a letter regarding the merger of the Folks Farein and the Chaplaincy division of the Canadian Jewish Congress and a copy of the motion of Kirshenbaum vs Green.
File contains two accounts of Operation Hiram, along with one letter and two related maps. One account is by Sergeant J. Franses and the second, reprinted from the magazine Maarachot, is by Lieutenant Colonel Gabriel Luria.
The Y-Time was the official news organ of the Toronto YM-YWHA. The paper began in 1933 as the YMHA Bulletin and was originally produced as an annual publication. The Executive Committee was originally in charge of most of the content that was submitted to the editor for printing. In later years, the YM-YWHA's Publication Committee took over responsibility for producing the newspaper. It was mailed out, free of charge, to the YM-YWHA. membership until around 1978, when the paper ended.
Scope and Content
This sub-series consists of Y-Time newspapers produced by the YM-YWHA. The newspapers are organized by year, generally with six-to-ten issues per year. There are also some bound volumes of the periodicals.
There are several missing issues, particularly from the years between 1936 and 1951. There is also some duplication between the bound issues and the loose issues, both of which have been kept due to the uniqueness of the record.

The newspaper is quite brittle and should be considered for future microfilming projects.
File contains correspondence and clippings related to an article Dunkelman wrote criticizing the Leon Uris novel, Exodus. Some correspondence relates to Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion; other correspondence relates to Theodore Kollek.
Item is a printout soliciting donations for Ernst Zündel. A Carlton Street address and phone number are included. The printout contains a death threat directed at Alan Shefman of B'nai Brith.

Item is a poster, white with green printing, of the United Jewish Appeal of Metropolitan Toronto Maccabiah '77, taking place Sunday, May 29. It lists three component events: 8th annual UJA Walkathon, UJA-B'nai B'rith Runathon, and YM-YWHA Swimathon. The slogan reads "Join the community-wide sport day for UJA." Poster also features a symbol of the event: a Star of David with a walker, runner and swimmer inside it.
File contains ten thank-you posters to sponsors and supporters of the walk, including corporate donors, individuals, and Toronto civil and municipal services.
John Glass was a trustee of the Toronto Board of Education from 1928-1930 and alderman on the city council for four years after that. In 1934 he was elected member of the Ontario parliament for the St. Andrew riding where he served for nine years.

File consists of a 1928 postcard promoting the election of John Glass as a candidate for the Board of Education in Toronto, and a postcard for Glass's 1932 campaign for aderman in Ward Four.

Accession consists of a photograph of a poster advertising the showing of the movie "Yiskor" or "Thou Shalt Remember" at the Standard Theatre. This film was released in 1925 and manufactured by S. Geyer Inc. in New York.
File consists of photographs and textual records documenting Mayor Phil Givens participation in Carnival Time which was staged by the Harmonie Club of Toronto on behalf of Toronto's German Community and sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Canada. Included is correspondence and images of Givens participating in the Carnival Time parade, delivering a speech, and in attendance at a dinner reception. Some photographs may have originally been maintained in a scrapbook.

Item is a composite photograph of the executive members of the Radomer Mutual Benefit Society's Co-operative Credit Association. The Association was organized in 1925 and incorporated in 1929.
