Folder consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence between John Glass and a number of individuals including Samuel Factor, W. G. La Marsh, Isadore Levinter, W. L. Miller, M. F. Hepburn (prime minister of Ontario), Colin Campbell, J. Louis Shannon, Gordon Conant, Mitchel Sharp, and W. Ross Macdonald.
Correspondence is generated by Ontario government departments and institutions including the Department of the Attorney General, Legislative Assembly, Office of the Prime Minister (now Pemier), Minister of Health, Ministry of Works, Department of Property, Treasury Department, and the Toronto Historical Board.
Of note is a letter from the Department of Public Welfare confirming that John Glass will be in charge of the memorial wreath presentation at the 1937 City Hall Remembrance Day Service. As well there is correspondence concerning a 1971 reunion of survivors of the 1919 Veterans Class at Osgoode Hall Law School. This small group of about eight men included John Glass.
File consists of financial reports and correspondence from the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds; the Windsor Jewish Community Council; the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Toronto (UJWFT)and the Rabbinical College of Canada regarding fundraising and budgets.
