File consists of twenty-five photographs of the United Jewish Appeal/Israel Special Fund banquet featuring GOlda Meir, Prime Minister of Israel. There are shots of Meir sitting at a banquet table, and speaking with various guests. There are several shots of Meir sitting at the head table while Rabbi Herbert Feder, Gerry Halbert, Ralph Halbert, Mr. Gwartz, Eddie Creed, Murray Koffler and a representative of the United Jewish Appeal speak at a podium, Meir herself speaking at the podium and Meir standing to an ovation. Other individuals in the photographs including Phil Granovsky, Theodor Meron, the Israeli Ambassador, Shmul Ounat, the Israeli consul of Toronto, Dave Marks, and the guests giving a standing ovation in the banquet hall.

Custodial History
File was found amongst the records of JIAS, but since the photographs all had the Congress stamp, it was evident they were misplaced there.
Scope and Content
File consists of 4 photographs taken at CJC functions and meetings, and four professional portraits of guest speakers from the 1960s. The people in the portraits are Pauline (Mrs. J. B.) Goldhar; Hon. Cecil Hyman, guest speaker at the 16th Regional Conference; Dr. Oscar Janowsky; and Saul Hayes, Q.C.

Awarding of a certificate for Archie B. Bennett in honour of his 75th birthday, at the 20th Annual Regional Conference, Sept. 27 1966. Photograph includes Harry Wolfson and National Vice-President Jack Finkleman.
Head table at a meeting circa 1962, with Milton Klein, Q.C., M.P., Montreal; Sydney Harris, Q.C., Toronto, chairman of National JCRC; Monroe Abbey, Q.C., Immediate Past Chairman of National Executive Committee of CJC; and Marvin Gelberg, M.P., Toronto.
Group of men in front of Congress displays: Myer Sharzer, Herbert Sohn, Harry Steiner, Dr. Joseph Diamond, Dr. Joseph Klinghoffer, Julius Hayman, and three unknown men. It is suggested the function may have been an Education and Culture conference; the photo was taken in 1959.

Scope and Content
The series consists of photographs taken at public events and portraits of Zionist Organization of Canada officers, prominent members of the Jewish community, and dignitaries from Canada, Israel, and the U.S. These photographs were used for publicity purposes by ZOC and were made available to the press through ZOC press releases.
Some of the files in the series include press releases, biographical information on the subjects of the photographs, or caption information for the photographs.

File contains photographs taken on the day of the walk. There is one oversize photograph, two 8x10s, and the rest are 4x6s. The images include participants posed in groups as well as walking, biking or rollerblading the route. Images are of families, children and young people. There are also pictures of checkpoint tables, for example, the ones overseen by Jewish Scouts Canada and B'nai Brith Upper Canada Lodge; volunteers serving up refreshments; the ham radio operators of the Communications team; Walk chairs Judy Engel and Alan Winer dressed as clowns; the ribbon cutting ceremony in Earl Bales Park; registration; marshals along the route; and the lunch stop barbecue. UJA staff pictured in the photos include Elaine Lightstone.

The images include crowd shots, Fun Run participants, dancing groups of people, flags, blue and white confetti, volunteers, the opening speeches, bikers, dogs, entertainment and Tony the Tiger. Also in the photos are several groups: Alpha Omega Toronto Alumni, the Birthright Israel Alumni committee and the Toronto Herschel School. Notables in the photos include Mel Lastman, Corey Mandell and co-chair Abe Glowinsky.

File contains photographs of the Walk and Festival 1990, including the starting line, the ham radio operators' room, midway rides, a clown, crowd shots, the Walk with Israel cake, the barbecue table, people along the route, the registration table, a juggler, and two special marshalls: the Tin Man and Cowardly Lion. The colour prints are of a group of youth, the Pink Panther greeting walkers (possibly Reena individuals), and a checkpoint table manned by a clown. There are 5 black and white 8x10 prints of the midway rides, a clown, a performer, and an audience. This accession consists of the ledger books of the Radomer Society Chevra Kadisha and the Lipsker Young Men's Benefit Society Chevra Kadisha. There are also two Radomer anniversary books from 1950 and 1955.
Custodial History
The records originally belonged to Mordechai Gelman, the father of the donor. They were donated to the Archives by his son on Sept. 15, 2008.
