- Individual case files and refusnik listings were assembled by numerous Soviet Jewry advocacy groups and distributed internationally. Such records were then used by groups like the Committee for Soviet Jewry in their promotional material such as leaflets and news briefs to inform the Jewish community, interest groups and members of the general public about updates to the status of individual refusnik cases and the plight of Soviet Jews within the Soviet Union.

- Item consists of an interview conducted by Zelda Young with Marvin Rosenstein and David [surname unintelligible], owners of Golan Security System. They talk about how they started the company, their professional backgrounds, the growing need for private security services in Canada, their use of Israeli technology, examples of services provided by the company, and their recepit of the Israel Trade Award for volume of importations of security-related products from Israel to Canada.

- Series consists of records related to Phil Givens’ work as an MP for the federal riding of York West in Toronto and a small amount related to Givens’ earlier failed election attempt in the Spadina riding. The records include campaign material, correspondence, photographs, a video cassette featuring Givens' at the Houses of Parliament and an oversized composite print of the members of the House of Commons for 1968. Of note are images of Givens participating in a parliamentary delegation to the United Nations, attending the Sir Casimir Gzowski Monument dedication, and visiting NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center. Also included is a small number of photographs of Givens at events hosted or attended by national political figures, such as former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Givens' attendance at such events occurred outside of his time in national office, but are associated with his role as a federal MP.

- The first National Convention of Zionists in Canada was held in 1907. National conventions held between 1907 and 1946 occurred annually and rotated locations between Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Beginning in 1946, with the 28th Convention held in Toronto, the Zionist Organization of Canada held a national convention biennially until the 41st convention which was held in Israel.
- It was during the national conventions that the national executive was elected for a two year term. Delegates to national conventions were nominated and elected from communities in each region of Canada which included: Eastern, Central, Mid-West, Western and Pacific.

- The National conventions series contains files documenting the 40th and 41st national conventions, held in 1972 and 1975. The files in this series includes documents such as: agendas, programs, reports, delegate lists, minutes from committees, resolutions and photographs.

The National Treasurer was responsible for reporting on the financial situation of the Zionist Organization of Canada through the presentation of auditor's reports and financial statements.
