File consists of a pamphlet issued by the Canadian National Committee on Refugees containing stories of individual European refugees and their contributions to Canada. Examples range from contributions in agriculture, industry, and the arts. The twelve-page pamphlet includes a foreword by Senator Cairine R. Wilson and articles by Austin F. Cross, Ken W. MacTaggart, and J. N. M. Brown.
File consists of textual records documenting Treasury Gifts luncheons. Included are invitations, agendas, correspondence, invitation lists, and speeches.
File consists of photographs of members of the Treasury Gifts Committee in a meeting and at a luncheon. Identified in the photographs are: Minnie Winters, Sarah Mendly, Esther Exton, Ella Himel, Zelma Solursh and Toby Isaacs.
This special sub-committee was established by the Executive Committee in order to examine the problems that had arisen with special, ear-marked gifts donated as part of the annual fund-raising campaign. The sub-committee was to develop recommendations on the best possible way to deal with such donations. The sub-committee met only once, on 21 January 1960.

Toronto Section's executive historically incorporated five or six vice-presidents, each in charge of a portfolio made up of a group of related committees. The thrift shop was a significant generator of revenue until the shop discontinued in 1971.

Sub-series consists of one file of newsclippings, meeting minutes and correspondence from the thrift shop's final few years.
The Treasury Gifts Committee established a "Tree of Life" around 1972 to honour organizations that have made donations. Names of donors who donated at least $200.00 were inscribed on the leaves of the tree.

File consists of an Ontario Human Rights Commission bulletin regarding the racial discrimination case against Maurice's Barber Shop (Windsor, ON) for refusing service to James Howard Robinson, a black man.

Item consists of two one-minute humorous radio spots for Negev Book and Gift Store, located at 3509 Bathurst Street, Toronto. In the first one, "Pain Reliever," a man is prescribed a visit to Negev to cure his ailments; in the second one, "The Psychiatrist," a man talks to a psychiatrist about his wife, who thinks she is a book from Negev.
