This accession consists of the ledger books of the Radomer Society Chevra Kadisha and the Lipsker Young Men's Benefit Society Chevra Kadisha. There are also two Radomer anniversary books from 1950 and 1955.
Custodial History
The records originally belonged to Mordechai Gelman, the father of the donor. They were donated to the Archives by his son on Sept. 15, 2008.

The text on the backs of the housing project photos roughly translates to, "Houses of the Federation of Polish Jews. The situation on February 13, 1949."

Admin History/Bio
The ZOC Charitable Fund was incorporated in 1969 after United Israel Appeal separated from the Zionist Organization of Canada and became an independent organization. The establishment of the ZOC Charitable Fund allowed the organization to continue operating several programs and activities and function as a tax-exempt charitable organization. The Fund was administered by a Board of Trustees composed of 17 executive officers of the Zionist Organization of Canada in addition to several appointed trustees. The Charitable Fund was responsible for financing and overseeing several ZOC programs in Canada and Israel, including: Zionist libraries, youth scholarships, Zionist youth summer camps, the promotion of Hebrew language instruction, the provision of educational subsidies, and the Canada-Town project in Israel.
Scope and Content
This series consists of records created between 1968 and 1975, including the mandate of the Charitable Fund, administrative records, minutes of meetings, reports, correspondence, scholarship records, and publicity materials.

Admin History/Bio
The Pension Fund Committee was established in 1958 to examine issues around the creation of a pension fund for employees of the UJWF and its affiliated agencies. By 1960 this employee benefit had been established, with Canada Trust as the fund manager. Since then the committee has been responsible for applying fund regulations and making decisions concerning fund access and disbursement eligibility.
Scope and Content
Series consists of one sub-series: Meeting Minutes of the Pension Fund Committee. Included within these files are various correspondence and reports records relevant to committee deliberations and decisions. Files are arranged chronologically within the sub-series.
Notes
Access restriction note: Records documenting the meeting minutes and activities of this committee are CLOSED until they are more than ten years old.
