Yukiko Sugihara (ca. 1914–2008) was the wife of Chiune Sugihara (1900–1986), Japan's consul in Kovno, Lithuania, in 1940. During the Second World War, Sugihara assisted her husband in issuing 2,139 visas to Jews seeking to escape. Today, Yad Vashem recognizes Mr. Sugihara as Righteous Among the Nations—the only individual of Japanese nationality to hold the distinction. Mrs. Sugihara recorded her experiences in a memoir titled Visas for Life.

This series consists of negatives created by Sylvia Schwartz during a trip to Europe in 1959. Series contains three files that include images of Paul Robeson in his apartment in Stratford-Upon-Avon, United Kingdom, the World Festival of Youth and Students in Vienna, Austria and a taping of the Ed Sullivan Show in Moscow, USSR. Series has been arranged into files for each event. It is organized chronologically by month.

File consists of photographs documenting Phil and Min Givens' trip to Israel in 1965. Included are images of Phil and Min Givens at an air show in Tel-Aviv, visiting Mayor M. Namir at the City Hall in Tel-Aviv-Yafo, visiting the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with Eddie Gelber and visiting with Israeli President Zalmon Shazar. The photographs of the visit with President Shazar were originally given to Phil and Min Givens in an album by the Keren Hayesod United Israel Appeal as a momento of their trip.

Born in Odessa, Vladimir Jabotinsky (1880-1940) was a Zionist leader notable for founding the Revionist movement within Zionism. In 1926, he travelled to Canada under the sponsorship of the Hebrew Veterans Association.

File consists of a contract between Hector Duthisac of Montreal and the Hebrew Veterans Association, Toronto. Duthisac was the manager for the Canadian tour of Vladimir Jabotinsky. The contract details the financial and logisitcal responsibilities of both parties for a lecture to be delivered on February 11, 1926 by Jabotinsky on his visit to Toronto.

Bill Harris was a hockey player who was first signed by the Leaf organization in 1950, becoming a Marlboro in the junior ranks. He then joined the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1955 and played on three consecutive Stanley Cup winning teams with them. He also coached the Canadian National Team during the 1969-70 season.
Jean Beliveau was a hockey player who played first played with the Quebec junior team, the Quebec City Citadelles, and then the senior team, the Quebec Aces. He was signed to the Montreal Canadiens in 1953 and played on ten Stanley Cup winning teams with the Montreal Canadiens after signing with them in 1953.
