- Camp Solelim was founded in 1965 by the Zionist Organization of Canada as a leadership camp for Canadian Jewish youth between the ages of 14 and 15. The camp was located just outside of Sudbury, Ontario and was administered by the National Camps Association in conjunction with the regional committee. However, daily operation and staffing for the camp was provided by Canadian Young Judaea. The camp is still in operation today under the auspices of Canadian Young Judaea.

- The sub-series consists of files created between 1969 and 1976. These files include: Camp Solelim Committee meeting minutes, correspondence and reports, financial records, programming records, office and administrative records, press and publicity documents, executive correspondence, and photographs of the camp.

- Camp Solelim was founded in 1965 by the Zionist Organization of Canada as a leadership camp for Canadian Jewsih youth between the ages of 14 and 15. The camp was located just outside of Sudbury, Ontario and was under the direct supervision of the Ontario Camps Association, who recieved their standards and guidelines from the National Camps Association. However, daily operation and staffing of the camp was provided by Canadian Young Judaea, which still operates the camp today.

- The sub-series consists of procedure records, press and publicity records, programming records, financial records, and a visitor's day camp booklet, created between 1965 and 1968. The sub-series also contains 3 film reels created in 1974 and 1 videocassette transfer of those reels, depicting various camp activities.

- This file also contains four colour photographs taken at a formal function. Two are family photos, one is a photo of an unidentified man, and the fourth is of another man with his wife walking down an aisle.
- The seventh photograph shows two unidentified men sitting at a poolside.
- The last photograph shows Rabbi Abraham A. Price addressing a group of people. A panel of men sits behind him. It appears as though this is taking place in a synagogue.

- Photographs document John Glass' participation in military, political, and Jewish community organizations through the years. Those activities include serving overseas in the First World War, sailing to France to attend the Vimy Ridge Memorial Pilgrimage in 1936, and attending a reunion of the Osgoode Hall law class of 1919 and former Toronto City Council members. Jewish community events for organizations such as Israel Bonds meetings and Ambassador's Balls, B'Nai Brith, Canadian Hadassah, and the Jewish branch of the Canadian Legion are depicted.
- There are panoramic views of large events hosted by the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Zionist Council, and the Jewish Branch of the Canadian Legion BESL (British Empire Service League).
- Of note is an autographed portrait of Vladimir Jabotinski that was given to Glass on the occassion of Jabotinsky's 1926 speaking engagement in Toronto. Also of note is a photograph taken by a Toronto Star photographer that shows Canon Cody, president of the University of Toronto; Dr. Chaim Weitzman; Arthur Roebuck, minister of labour; John Glass; and Peter Keenan, minister of lands and forests.

- Camp Biluim was founded in 1961 under the auspices of the Zionist Organization of Canada as a national leadership training institute for Canadian youth. Originally located in Huntsville Ontario, the camp moved to Mont Tremblant, Quebec, in 1976, where it shared its land and facilities with Camp Kinneret, another ZOC-owned summer camp. The purpose of the camp was to provide practical and transferable leadership training to slightly older Canadian Jewish youths, most of whom were members of Young Judaea. Many Camp Biluim graduates later returned to ZOC summer camps as counsellors or found senior administrative positions in Canadian Young Judaea.
- Camp Biluim was administered by the National Camps Association in conjunction with the regional committee, although daily operation and staffing of the summer camp was provided by Canadian Young Judaea. The camp still exists today under the full administrative operation of Canadian Young Judaea.

- Camp Hatikvah was founded in 1956 by the Zionist Organization of Canada as a summer camp for Jewish youth between the ages of 9 and 13. Located in Oyama, British Columbia, Camp Hatikvah served as the only Zionist camp for the Western region of Canada. Most of the campers came from British Columbia and Alberta.
- Camp Hatikvah was administered by the National Camps Association in conjunction with the regional committee, although, daily operation and staffing was provided by Canadian Young Judaea. The Zionist Organization of Canada ended operation of the camp in the late 1970s due to financial instability and an emboiled legal battle with the Vancouver Jewish community over ownership. In 1979, ZOC transfered the land title to the Vancouver community's Camp Hatikvah Foundation, which has been in charge of operating the camp ever since.

The camp was located in Mont Tremblant, Quebec and also shared its site with Camp Biluim, the summer leadership institute operated by the Zionist Organization of Canada. The camp served the Eastern region youth between the ages of 9 and 13.

- Accession consists of one VHS videocassette copy of an 8mm silent film that was taken by Hy Rossman of campers at Camp Tamarack in 1943. The film includes scenes of the boys engaged in activities at camp as well as "mess hall" gatherings, training sessions and drills

- Hy Rossman was the father of one of the campers. The donor, Dr. Martin Wolfish, was a friend of his son and was a camper in 1943 as well.
