Scope and Content
File consists of two copies of a promotional video about Toronto's New City Hall featuring Phil Givens. Filmed in a documentary style, the film offers an historical overview of City Hall since the founding of Toronto, an interview with Nathan Phillips, a tour of the interior of New City Hall and a look at Toronto's changing infrastructure.

Robert Hall was born on September 4, 1927 to Maurice and Rose. He married Edith Heisler and they had four children: Lon Jason, Daniel David, Barbara Ann and Andrew Philip. He was a partner in the legal firm Gordon, Keyfetz, Hall and Baker.

File consists of photographs documenting Prince Philip's visit to City Hall in March 1966. Included are images of Prince Philip meeting with Mayor Phil Givens and Metro Chairman William Allen in Givens' office, Prince Philip delivering a speech in Council Chambers, and Prince Philip leaving City Hall.

Physical Condition
The large photograph has creases on two of its corners and slight yellowing on its left hand side.
The file consists of correspondence between the Toronto Zionist Council and representatives of the Borough of North York; Municipality of Toronto; Province of Ontario; and the Electoral District of Wilson Heights concerning the offer to allow the meeting rooms at the Zionist Centre to be used as polling stations for the Provincial and Municipal Elections held in 1975.
This item is a copy print of the exterior of "Madame" Cohen's dance hall, located at the corner of Brock Street and Wellington Street in Kingston, Ontario.

File consists of photographs and medium format slides documenting the unveiling ceremony of Henry Moore's sculpture, "The Archer", at Nathan Phillips Square on October 27th, 1966. Included are images of Mayor Philip Givens delivering a speech and standing in front of the sculpture, crowds gathered to watch the unveiling and viewing the sculpture afterwards, and Canadian pair figure skaters Otto and Maria Jelinek performing for crowds at the ceremony. Individuals identified in the photographs include: Mayor Philip Givens, Dennis Flynn, Eric Arthur and Lieutenant Governor John Keiller MacKay.
