The second, dated February 23rd, 1959, is a letter from Edith M. Butt, 15 Minto Place, Toronto, to Edmund Scheuer Ltd. Mrs. Butt was a customer of the store and was writing to thank Scheuer's for her diamond engagement ring purchased thirty-five years earlier.
