Of note is a land title document from 1981.

Ayala Ben Tovim Fleg Zacks Abramov (1912-) was born in Jerusalem and educated in Israel, Paris and London. She was active in Zionist circles after the Second World War, facilitating her meeting her second husband, Sam Zacks (1904-1970). He was born in Kingston Ontario, Canada, and was a financier, Zionist and art collector. Together they amassed a very large collection which they leant / bequeathed to various Canadian and Israeli institutions. After Sam Zacks’ death, Ayala married Zalman Abramov, an Israeli lawyer and politician, and moved to Israel permanently in 1982.
Scope and Content
File consists of three photographs of Phil Givens conversing in the home of prominent Canadian art collector and philanthropist Ayala Zacks.

This accession consists of two photographs taken by Judith Ghert of the former Mount Sinai Hospital facade on Yorkville Ave. The facade was saved from demolition, moved back from the sidewalk and is now being incorporated into a new condo development on the site that will feature retail space on the ground level.
