The International Pharmaceutical Fraternity (Rho Pi Phi) was founded in 1919 at the University of Boston; the Nu student Chapter at the University of Toronto and the Rokeah Pharmacist Club (both started as Jewish organizations) were both founded in 1926, enjoying a close working relationship. The Rokeah club merged with International Pharmaceutical Fraternity's Nu Chapter in 1963, producing the Rokeah Chapter of the Rho Pi Phi.
