- Itche Goldberg (1904–2007) was a teacher at Workmen's Circle/Arbeiter Ring School. A promoter of the Yiddish language, Goldberg edited the Yidishe Kulture journal, serving as editor from 1964 to 2004. Active in left-wing politics, he ultimately repudiated Communist ideology in the 1950s. He died in 2007 at the age of 102.
