- Scope and Content
- Series comprises 40 audio reels containing recordings created by the United Jewish Welfare Fund (later the United Jewish Appeal of Metropolitan Toronto) between 1953 and 1973. Includes recordings of study missions to Israel and Europe, events promoted by the organization, interviews with notable Israeli personalities (notably David Ben-Gurion, Pinchas Sapir, and General Chaim Herzog), campaign recordings, and detailed discussions of the Holocaust, the Six-Day War, the Yom Kippur War, and their repercussions to Israel, Israel-Arab relations, and Jews around the world and in Canada.
