- Scope and Content
- Item consists of Rabbi Witty's segment. He talks about the five days he spent in Chicago the prior month attending training sessions on computers and Jewish education, organized by the Morris Goldman Computer Department of the Associated Hebrew Schools of Chicago. According to him, the centre offered training for teachers and administrators of Jewish schools in the application of computer technology to Jewish education and to the harnessing of computer expertise for the benefit of the student in Jewish schools. He also talks about the activities conducter over the three years of existence of the Morris Goldman Computer Department and highlights parts of the program that interested him the most. Finally, he discusses the need to bring computers into Jewish Schools.
