- Scope and Content
- Item consists of Rabbi Schild's segment. He talks about the importance of labour to the Zionist movement and its ties to Jewish tradition -- according to him, Jews should take part in all layers of the Israeli economy, but claims that the "menial jobs" are being done by Arabs. He argues that, although Arabs should be integrated into the Israeli economy, Jews should also find dignity in physical labour, one of the pillars of Zionism, under the slogan "to build and to be rebuilt" in order to be self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-respecting.
