- Item consists of Rabbi Monson's segment. He promotes the Workmen's Circle Social Club luncheon meeting in honour of Shirley Gazel, at which he will be a speaker; congratulates his friends Joel and Jenny Bloom for their 50th wedding anniversary; discusses Shimon Peres' July visit to Moroccan king Hassan II – while praising Morocco's initiative to welcome a Israeli official, which he sees as a first step towards peace, he condemns the Arab refusal to recognize Israel and declares that peace depends upon their recognition ; reports on a grenade attack on cyclists near Jericho; and promotes his tour to Israel after Yom Kippur.
